Sharing your request with local businesses

DRAFT — requires owner review before use. To find someone for your job, Buildorb may send a summary of your request to a small number of local businesses, including businesses that are not registered with Buildorb, to ask about their availability and price. What we share: the service, your town, your timing and urgency, your job description and answers (we remove email addresses, phone numbers and links), and how many photos you added. What we don’t share: your name, street address, email address, phone number or photos. These go only to the business that confirms your job. You choose whether to go ahead. Nothing is booked until the business you choose confirms the work and time and has passed Buildorb’s provider checks. We keep a record of which businesses we contacted and what they replied as part of your job history.
